This week marked our first official graded project with the EV3s . We were assigned a challenge- to move a ‘bot down a line, have it turn 90 degrees, and throw a ping-pong ball. It took a couple tries to get the arm to stop snapping off, or keep the ‘bot from trying to hurl itself into oblivion and tipping forward with the force of the arm, but after trials and tribulations and a lot of programming and re-programming, we managed to get it to work, with a throwing distance of 103″!
Below is my partner, Aaron, with our ‘bot. We named him Sam.
